I was first a son and a brother. Became a husband then a
father. I dreamed of basketball glory then discovered the guitar. Now I
sell real estate and I enjoy almost every minute of it.
I was born in Raleigh in 1962. I graduated from Broughton High School in
1980 and earned a bachelors degree in Biostatistics, School of Public
Health, UNC-Chapel Hill in 1984. Upon graduation, opportunity knocked
loudly and I hit the road with a musical group called The Connells.
Together we traveled the world and elsewhere. I stayed at it until I heard
the autumn bells start to chime. I decided then I wanted to witness the
seasons’ change in my fair city.
I am married to the former Emilia Gutkin. Together we have two handsome
sons and a sweet dog.
